Hanging Mental Real Estate Curtains 2015.147
We are REMAX of Santa Clarita, with the Paris911 Team, we don't want our clients getting too attached to a home before it is theirs and before they have completed all of the inspections etc.
It could be that their loan does not go the way they wanted it to. Having nothing to do with the home, maybe they lost their ability to finance.
However, as most things are, cancellation of escrow is typically the result of finding out something about the home you cannot deal with. Something that money won't fix and something that you cannot get over.
This happens from time to time and within our current Santa Clarita real estate market, 2015.147, we see about 30-40 real estate listings bom each week - bom = Back on Market. These are homes that are in escrow, something is made aware, and the buyers cancel the transaction.

REMAX of Santa Clarita Price Changes 2015.114
The local real estate market is moving along at a nice clip.
We have more inventory today that we have had in the past 18 months that is active and for sale in the Santa Clarita real estate market.
IMHO - we will see this trend continue for the next couple of months. There is a chance that the local housing market may start it's shift from being in a sellers zone to a buyers zone.
However, in order for that to happen we are going to need double our present inventory of homes that are for sale.
